Perceptive Engineering Ltd has won the Merseyside Innovation Award 2016, the first time this award has been .  Working with United Utilities, Thames Water and other UK water companies, Perceptive has developed a technique for improving the efficiency and reliability of wastewater treatment plants.

Perceptive's Principal Engineer in the water sector, Matthew McEwan, said:"We are very pleased to be recognised as delivering innovative solutions that help the water sector meet current and future challenges.  Advanced Process Control provides a platform that helps our clients to reduce their operating costs while minimising the risk of pollution."
